Get ready to celebrate: We’re turning 10!

Break out the cake and candles — this month our company celebrates 10 years in business. It’s a milestone worth commemorating because, over the past decade, our company has grown up. We now have more employees, more resources, and more users than ever before. We’re proud to say that LimeWire has become the world’s most popular P2P file-sharing program.

Tech Trends: No Kluge For You

Seems everyone is talking about music services and the technology powering them. There’s been a bit of confusion as well. Almost all of these new challengers to iTunes include some form of cloud technology. I’d like to spend a moment talking about what it really means to benefit from the cloud and some of the other innovations that really set Lime Company’s music service apart.

Our New Normal: A More Dedicated, Agile Team than Ever Before

Something funny is happening on the way to our new music service… We created a new ‘normal’ for our team.

Last year many things started to change for our company. And, we embraced the changes. Every team member learned how to become more nimble. For example, we defined an agile development process that allowed us to deliver high quality software in the shortest amount of time possible. We learned how to grow our organization without compromising our core values.

    Developing Our New Music Service

You heard it right: a new music service from LimeWire is coming. And, to say I am excited about it would be an understatement. Personally, I come from a background in building products that make the distribution, discovery and consumption of music more compelling, easy and fun. Before joining the LimeWire team I held various lead and backup player roles in such notable acts as TotalMusic, a joint venture between Sony Music and Universal Music, and at AOL Music where I got to work on products like MusicNow, AOL Radio, Winamp and SHOUTcast.

    Who is LimeWire?

LimeWire has never been an ordinary company; nor do we intend to become one.

Throughout our evolution, we have emphasized innovation and transformation. We are in the business of making a difference for our users – a business that everyone in the company is passionate about.
