    Product Manager

    Lime Company is seeking an exceptional Product Manager.  The successful candidate will serve as a product expert combining world-class domain expertise, development knowledge, market analysis, and end-user feedback to establish product vision, plan for a multi-year roadmap, and partner with Development and Services to deliver the foundational services for world-class peer-to-peer, file-sharing, and media delivery products. This position will work with a team of Product Managers and report to the VP, Product Management.

     

    The Product Managers will work directly with Development teams and should understand the needs and challenges of the organization in order to create solutions that will satisfy both the Business and the end-users.​

    Responsibilities

    • Define and prioritize platform and product feature sets
    • Drive and publish the product road map
    • Create and communicate vision for assigned product suite across the team and the organization
    • Serve role as “product owner” within one or more Scrum teams
    • Collaborate with Business Analysts, other Product Managers, and Developers on Functional Requirements
    • Conduct best-practices research and benchmarking
    • Actively participate in design reviews
    • Identify potential third party partnership opportunities
    • Manage product timelines and develop financial projections
    • Manage scope throughout each release cycle
    • Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvement

    Qualifications

    • 6+​ years of professional experience.​  4+ ​ years Product Management or Product Operations experience in one or more of the following: Digital Music services or applications, File Sharing, Peer-to-Peer networking
    • Strong technical background and ability to work closely with a software engineering team
    • "Hands-on" work experience developing product requirements
    • Strong track record of being part of successful, deadline-driven teams
    • Professional presence and advanced communications and presentation skills
    • Self-motivated and able to multi-task under aggressive schedules
    • BA/​BS degree required.​ Technical degree (EE/​CS) desired.​ MBA a plus.​

    Bonus:

    • Prior experience working in a Scrum product development environment
    • Experience with Digital Media products, Web services and distributed computing environments
